Rolling Down the Street, Reviewing Sodas, Sipping on Chronic Ginger Ale

We've spoken about other sodas that try to conjure up thoughts of pot culture at the site before, such as Mary Jane's, however none actually contained hemp. At least not in this country.
All has changed thanks to Chronic Ice Ginger Ale, the nation's first hemp soda. I'm not sure if they're trying to sell to potheads or fans of 90's rap. Possibly both.
Greenlight Beverages, whose line-up mostly consists of hemp-based teas, sold out of all 105,000 cans in their first run "within days" of release. Coincidently, 105,000 is also the number of years until Dre's next album will be out.
If booze is more your thing, the San Francisco Chronicle (Chronic-le?) suggests mixing the ginger ale with vodka for an Absolut Chronic. Coincidently, Absolut Chronic is also the name of the upcoming 20th anniversary edition of The Chronic.
Alright, enough with the Dr. Dre jokes. The worst part about writing this article was finding out The Chronic is 20 years old. You're old, I'm old, we're old.
