SodaStream Forgets that Whole Environmental Awareness Thing, Creates the Keurig of Soda

In the same month SodaStream announces the "Source," another new...uh...innovation comes along. SodaCaps are disposable caps filled with syrup for SodaStream bottles. Just carbonate as usual, twist the cap on, and the pre-measured serving of syrup comes out.

SodaStream has made a point of touting the environmental benefits of their products, and although they're quick to say the SodaCaps "can" be recycled and are biodegradable, this could still add up to a significant amount of waste. Wonder if that counter on their website showing how many bottles of soda they've saved around the world will start going downward?
